Our upcoming Cultural Friday will be all about Venezuela. Elementary students will learn about Venezuela’s varied geography: from mountains to beaches to the Amazon jungle. Teachers will also play traditional music from Venezuela.
They will talk about the national flag and the national flower. Tostones (plaintain chips) will be served as well. If Qué Tal families are interested in tasting other Venezuelan foods, there is a very small restaurant in Eden Prairie called Teque Arepa. They serve arepas, tequeños, fried yuca and various tropical fruit juices.
