Elena Gandía was born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico.  She has been at Qué Tal for 8 years and teaches both elementary and middle school students.  She is currently Qué Tal’s Elementary Teacher Lead.

 

Teachers

Qué Tal teachers are native speakers from many Latin American countries and many have lived in several different countries as well.  Qué Tal students are exposed to a variety of Spanish accents.

Elementary School Teachers

Elena Gandía was born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico.  She has been at Qué Tal for 8 years and teaches both elementary and middle school students.  She is currently Qué Tal’s Elementary Teacher Lead.

Jeannette Barreiro was born in Venezuela and has taught both Elementary and Middle School students at Qué Tal for the past seven years.  She is currently teaching System A and Middle School Conversation Lab.

Briseida Diaz was born in Mexico.  She has taught both Elementary and Middle School students at Qué Tal.  Currently, she is an Attendant in El Club.

Fernanda González was born in Argentina.  She has taught Elementary students at Qué Tal since 2007. She is currently teaching System B1.

Rosana Guastaferro was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina but grew up in Caracas, Venezuela. She has been working at Qué Tal since 2007, teaching first level of the program, especially kindergartners.

Claudia Lindman was born in Trujillo, Peru.  She joined Qué Tain 2012 and is teaching Kindergarteners.

Carolina Mardones was born in Santiago, Chile.  In 2009, she joined Qué Tal as a Substitute Teacher and also taught the adult class.  Since 2010, she has been teaching B-2 students full-time.

Ana Maria Menanteau was born in Santiago, Chile and has lived in Argentina, Ecuador, Paraguay, Colombia, Costa Rica, and Honduras!  She has been teaching elementary students at Qué Tal since 2012.

Soledad V. Morantes was born in Costa Rica and has taught both Elementary and Middle School students at Qué Tal since 2007. She is currently teaching elementary students.

Maria Alicia Peschard was born in Puebla City, Mexico.  She joined Qué Tal as a substitute in 2010 and then as a full-time teacher in 2011. She currently teaches both Elementary and Middle School students.

Ana Rayas was born in Queretaro, Mexico. She has been teaching at Qué Tal since 2007 and currently teaches system B2 to 2nd and 3rd graders.

Middle School Teachers

Laura Mueller was born in New York, but was raised and educated in Buenos Aires, Argentina.  She has taught both Elementary and Middle school students since 2002 and at Qué Tal since September 2006.

Substitute Teachers

 

Alicia Xifra was born in Argentina. She has taught Classes for Parents, Elementary and Middle School students at Que Tal since 2008.  She is currently Substitute teacher at Qué Tal.

Attendant

He works as our Attendant in the mornings making sure our Qué Tal students safely board our buses to their schools.
