There are many different hard-copy Spanish-English dictionaries available for students.  Our teachers recommend Larousse and Vox.

Public Libraries

The Hennepin County Libraries (www.hclib.org) offer various books, CD’s, videos, and other materials in Spanish for students.

Cultural Events

The Teatro del Pueblo promotes Latino culture through the creation and presentation of performing arts. There are public performances in the spring and fall of each year.

Cinco de Mayo is an annual event held in Saint Paul.

Festival of Nations is a family friendly event open to all ages. It is an annual four-day event with cafes, demonstrations, exhibitions, dance and bazaars. It is a program of the International Institute of Minnesota.

Spanish Camps

Concordia Language Villages offers Spanish immersion camps over the summer. They also offer Spanish day camps in the Twin Cities during the summer.
ISLA summer-camp offers a diverse range of exciting daily activities and events.
